Job SummaryQuEST (Quality Enrichment and Transformation Program) Tutors will provide academic support aligned with the All-in Virginia high-dosage tutoring initiative. Positions are assigned to specific schools with varying schedules based on school needs.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide high-intensity tutoring to students in grades 6-8 identified as "at risk" or "not proficient" based on assessment results.
Minimum QualificationsPreferred candidates will hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license. Non-licensed tutors must complete the All In Tutoring online training. Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and assess their learning needs in math and reading.
- Use of progress monitoring to track student learning.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and math skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Comfort with online platforms.
- Flexibility in work schedule.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and establish effective relationships.
- High School Student: $10.40/hour
- College Student/Adult: $13.00/hour
- Degreed: $16.00/hour
- License Eligible Teacher: $30/hour (school days), $40/hour (weekends)
