Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications.

• Apprentice graduate, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 6 years of applicable technical experience.
• 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor Test Inspection 1 or equivalent position plus a minimum of 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree and experience.

• Knowledgeable in MT/PT/ET/VT inspection processes and principles and have a working level knowledge of shipbuilding construction processes across VCS, CLB, FS and CNC programs.
• Considerable knowledge of the safety, security, and execution requirements for NDT.
• Well versed in fundamental Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles.
• Workable level knowledge of EVMS and ability to manage direct and indirect budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams with internal/external customers and within their own organization.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum of a confidential DoD security clearance.
