This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer.

To support the team by providing hands on electrical, instrumentation, and PLC support through field troubleshooting, calibration, documenting updates, and control system maintenance. This role focuses onmaintainingsafe, reliable, andcode‑compliant electrical and process control systems byassistingwith drawings, loop documentation, and system modifications while collaborating closely with engineers, project leads, operations, and maintenance personnel.

• Assistwithmaintainingand updating electrical and instrumentation drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control loop documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Support PLC-based control systems by assisting with I/O troubleshooting, basic logic changes, backups, and downloads following change management procedures.

• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues using basic hand tools and meters,diagrams, blueprints, loop sheets, and P&IDs.

• Support startup, shutdown, and commissioning activities formodifiedelectrical and control systems.

• Perform calibration, functional testing, and verification of field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices.

• Assistwithperforming predictive maintenance activities,to includeestablishingcondition-based maintenance set points, and instrument status in maintenance and engineering records.

• Identify failed or out-of-tolerance instruments and coordinate corrective actions with engineering or maintenance teams.
