Fly Family Therapy, Inc. is a growing, clinician-led group practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across the Peninsula and surrounding communities. We provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient behavioral health care in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Current services include individual, family, and couples counseling, as well as neurofeedback, with planned expansion into group therapy and integrated psychiatric medication management.
We are seeking a licensed Psychologist interested in outpatient clinical work, interdisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to the thoughtful growth of a modern private practice.
Position OverviewThe Psychologist will provide outpatient psychotherapy services and may have opportunities to participate in psychological assessment, neurofeedback services, group programming, and future integrated care initiatives, depending on interest and training. This role offers a high degree of clinical autonomy within a collegial group practice setting.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families
- Complete assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, trainees, and future medication providers
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record
- Participate in consultation, case discussion, and quality improvement activities
- Psychological assessment
- Group therapy development and facilitation
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling
- Fully licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Experience providing psychotherapy across the lifespan preferred
- Comfort working with a range of presenting concerns (e.g., anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues)
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ethical practice standards
- Interest in collaborative, team-based care
- Flexible scheduling with in-person and hybrid options
- Full administrative, billing, and scheduling support
- Steady referral flow across diverse age groups and presenting concerns
