In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our dynamic Geospatial & Digital Solutions (GDS) Market Sector team to support diverse IR&D and customer‑focused projects within a multidisciplinary organization to achieve specific goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will focus on leveraging cloud solutions and digital tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall digital experience for both internal teams and external customers. Reporting directly to our Director of the Digital HUB Team, the ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, geospatial data storage solutions, and ensuring the availability and security of data, service, and input systems.

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud resources supporting geospatial data workflows.
• Implement and monitor data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with GIS teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for spatial data processing.
• Support IT teams and end‑users in a collaborative environment.
• Implement systems utilizing edge server hardware and software, including GPU integration and system architecture fundamentals.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and support activities related to data infrastructure.

• Minimum 5 years of Azure cloud administration experience with cloud services and data management.
• Proven experience managing SaaS‑specific cloud systems (e.g., multi‑tenancy, auto‑scaling, zero‑downtime deployments).
• Proven experience managing and supporting a ticketing system (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Zendesk).
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience supporting customer‑facing products with a focus on uptime, throughput, and low latency.
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with edge nodes and edge computing is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Successful results of pre‑employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
• Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
