Computer Systems Security Analyst

PROLIM () is currently seeking Computer Systems Security Analyst for one of our top clients in Newport News, VA
.

Shift Comments: Opening for 1st shift (6:30 am - 3:30 pm) and 2nd shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm). HYBRID work model (Ability to support 2 days in office on Tues/Thurs, 3 days remote, support on-site management meetings as required).

1st & 2nd Shift - Active Secret Clearance Required or Ability to obtain one is also considered.

Conducts a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems, requiring formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations.

Coordinates activities with clients, programmers/developers, and operating personnel, both domestically and globally. Identifies current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggests methods for the identification, implementation, and maintenance of procedures, actions, and documentation necessary to ensure compliance with federal and international regulations governing user applications.

Reports on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements. Keeps abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements, government audit policies, and current techniques.

Minimum Education & Experience

0 years with a Bachelor's in Science. Equivalency:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 0 years of experience. A relevant professional certification can substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree.

• SOC/IT administration experience
• Experience with large enterprise SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel platforms (native and cloud-based)
• Relevant certifications in security technologies and methodologies (desirable)
• SEC+
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler

• IT Systems and Network Administration
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
