We are currently hiring a Systems Administrator in Newport News, VA.
Description:- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Linux Systems Operations:
Configure, monitor, and actively troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and environments. Serve as an escalation point for complex RHEL operational issues. - Architect and manage large-scale virtualization environments, including VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and cloud-based platforms.
- Design and implement converged infrastructure solutions, such as Simplivity, to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using Power Shell, Python, or other languages to streamline complex administrative tasks.
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s Degree. (A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.)
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Windows Server design, deployment, security, and support in an enterprise environment.
- Server virtualization and automation expertise in an enterprise environment.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
- 5 openings available for varying experience levels.
- Hybrid work schedule: 1st week training fully onsite, and then 2 days working onsite, 3 days remote.

- $65-$85/hr based on experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
