• Provide direct patient care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized end‑of‑life care duties.
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with the plan of care.
• Assess and provide patient/family education related to diagnosis and self‑care plans.
• Use equipment and supplies efficiently and maintain aseptic technique.
• Manage pain/symptoms and evaluate patient response to treatments/medications.
• Participate in professional growth activities and quality improvement teams.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Registered Nurse.

• Virginia State‑Issued LPN certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Valid Driver's License (required)
• Ability to commute to Newport News, VA 23601 or willingness to relocate before starting (required)

• Full‑time, daytime shift (Monday‑Friday, weekend availability required)
