Ensuring grounds are maintained to standard as assigned at Riverside Health System standards. Job assignments include landscape installation, hand watering, mulching, hedge trimming, trash removal, leaf removal, weed removal (hand and chemical), push mowing, snow removal, flower plantings in beds, containers, and baskets. Must be knowledgeable of plant names and maintenance characteristics for the Mid-Atlantic region.

• Assist co-workers with the care of customers; address customer's needs regardless of assignment and assist others to complete tasks when necessary.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness, contributing to performance excellence.
• Conscientiously observe policies and procedures to ensure the safety of self, co-workers, and visitors, following guidelines for body mechanics, hazardous material handling, and universal precautions.
• Execute service work plans to achieve highest quality and revise daily service plan as appropriate.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).

Experience

• 1 year landscaping experience in a professional environment (Required).

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Pesticide Applicator – Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Registered Spray Technician within 1 Year (Preferred).
• Valid Driver's License required.
