Adjunct Faculty Member – College of Natural and Behavioral Science / Biology and Chemistry
Christopher Newport University’s College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences is accepting applications from prospective adjunct faculty members to teach individual courses, as needed, in the following areas in Spring 2026 and beyond.
Teaching Areas- Biology – Principles of Biology I Lab
- Human Anatomy/Physiology I Lab
- Topics in Medicine and Health
- Chemistry – Introductory Chemistry I and II Lecture and Lab
- General Chemistry I and II Lecture and Lab
- Organic Chemistry I and II Lab
• Earned graduate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited university in a relevant discipline.
• 18 completed semester hours of graduate coursework in Biology for Biology courses or in Chemistry for Chemistry courses.
• Official transcripts required at the time of hire.
• Completion of a University-sponsored background check.
