As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials including TSA-issued TWIC cards, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, report irregularities involving gates, docks, trailers, and restricted areas, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, business operations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
