Power BI Developer

We're currently looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join an organisation on an initial 3-month contract
, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is a hands-on role focused on enhancing an existing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI reporting platform
. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to review the current data architecture, optimise reporting capabilities, and deliver insightful dashboards that support operational decision making across the business.

• Review and optimise an existing Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse environment
• Assess current data models, semantic models, ETL processes and reporting architecture
• Recommend improvements around performance, scalability, governance and security
• Integrate data from multiple business systems and APIs
• Design and develop operational reports and interactive Power BI dashboards
• Build robust data models, measures and KPIs
• Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting solutions
• Advise on reporting best practice, automation and self-service analytics
• Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer to ensure a sustainable reporting platform

• Proven commercial experience developing Power BI solutions
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Data Platform technologies
• Experience designing and optimising Lakehouse architectures
• Strong data modelling and ETL experience
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms and APIs
• Excellent stakeholder management and business analysis skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver within a contract environment
• Strong communication, documentation and knowledge transfer skills

Duration: Initial 3 months (likely to extend)
