Management Accountant
Location: Isle of Wight
Salary: £36,000-£40,000 per year + Company Car
Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week | 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful automotive business based on the Isle of Wight
.
This role is ideal for a Management Accountant with previous motor trade experience who is confident producing accurate financial reports, supporting dealership performance and working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Produce regular financial reports for senior management
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, credit control and debt collection
- Manage warranty claims and financial reconciliations
- Complete bank reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end account preparation
- Monitor vehicle sales profit and loss accounts
- Control payroll reporting and associated processes
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with company procedures
- Support continuous improvement of dealership accounting processes
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant within the motor trade
- Strong understanding of dealership finance processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience completing VAT returns and statutory reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Reynolds & Reynolds / Power accounting systems
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
