We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join an industrial business based in Pye Corner, Newport
.
The position is offered Monday to Friday, with the business open to flexibility around the hours and working pattern to suit the successful candidate
. The advertised salary is based on a 37.5-hour working week, with the salary adjusted pro rata depending on the hours agreed.
For example,
30 hours per week would be £20,800 - £25,600
, depending on experience.
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control and following up outstanding payments
- Processing payments and receipts
- Maintaining finance records and ledgers
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Supporting general finance administration
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and transactional finance
- Experience using accounting software
- Good Excel skills
- Able to manage your own workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 FTE
- 30-hour equivalent: £20,800 - £25,600
- Hours: Flexible Monday to Friday
- Location: Pye Corner, Newport
- Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
