Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a warehouse development project in Newport. The role will involve setting out and QA duties, completing the remaining foundation works, deep drainage (3-5m), manholes, kerbing, retaining walls, and associated infrastructure works. We're looking for someone who is quick, sharp, and capable of working independently.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer
- Strong setting out and QA experience
- Experience with foundations and retaining walls
- Experience with deep drainage (3-5m) and manholes
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Valid CSCS card (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Setting out the remaining foundations
- QA checks and maintaining quality standards
- Setting out and overseeing drainage works (3-5m deep)
- Setting out manholes and kerbing works
- Setting out retaining walls
- Liaising with the site team to ensure works are completed safely and to programme
