Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering Newport and the wider South Wales region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst looking to join a respected consultancy offering a genuine balance of surveying and analytical duties across commercial and mixed-use properties. As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a varied portfolio of commercial and mixed-use sites throughout South Wales.

• Delivering Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
  264

• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling in accordance with HSG
  248

• Working across commercial and mixed-use properties

• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports

• Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites

• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
  , Asbestos Surveyor, or Asbestos Analyst

• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements

• Ability to manage your own workload independently

• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
