JOB PURPOSE Toassistthe Private Sector Housing Initiatives Managerandotherstaffwithintheteaminmanagingthetemporaryaccommodationprovidedbythe Counciltohomelesshouseholds . Toprovidesupportandassistancetotheteamtoensureaneffectiveandcomprehensivehousingmanagementserviceisprovidedtothetemporaryaccommodationusedbythe Authority. Toprovideaneffectiveandresponsiveresponsetoservicerequestsfromclients. Togenerallyparticipateintheoverallplanninganddevelopmentofthehomelessnessservice. KEYRESULTAREASAccommodation Support Officer  Toberesponsibleforthesmoothrunningofadministrativesystemsrelatingtothe Housing Supplyand Regulation Servicewithaparticularemphasisuponthesystemssurroundingtheprovisionoftemporaryaccommodationtohomelesshouseholds . Tocollectandcollatemanagementinformationandstatisticsandtoprovidethemtomanagersasdirected. Toactasapointofcontactformaintenancesupportanddirection. Tosupporttheteamintheprocurementandbookingofemergencyaccommodationandtoberesponsiblefortheadministrativeaspectsofplacingclientsintotheaccommodation. Toassistwithcreatingandmonitoringrentchargesandincomereceivedinrespectoftemporaryaccommodation. As directed,tocarryoutallappropriateadministrativefunctionsrelatingtotheoperationoftemporaryaccommodation,includingtheraisingofpaymentrequisitions,debits,creditsandinvoices,processing orders,sendingandreceivinggoods/servicesandoperating/updatingrelevantITsystems.
