Our client, a prestigious franchise-approved vehicle dealership in Newport, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor to join their dynamic team.
This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a reputable brand and progress their career in the automotive industry.
- Salary up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Achievable performance bonus of up to £8,000 (paid monthly)
- Basic salary with a realistic £40,000 OTE - 25 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service within the Service Department
- Schedule service, maintenance, or repair work, including arranging courtesy vehicles when necessary
- Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor vehicle progress and keep customers informed
- Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager, Service Reception Manager, and a team of Service Advisors and Technicians
- Manage customer appointments efficiently, prioritise workloads, and ensure total customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records using relevant IT systems; experience with Kerridge/ADP is desirable
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and represent the prestige brand positively
- Requirements of a Service Advisor:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and IT literacy
- A full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
- A stable customer-facing career background is desirable
- Enthusiasm for delivering high levels of customer service and building rapport with clients
