Overview
These P.E teacher roles will commence on 1 September 2026 in Newport secondary schools and run until July 2027. You will be expected to teach pupils crucial techniques and tactics, in addition to delivering theoretical content for GCSE and A-Level exams/coursework.
Responsibilities- Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons
- Use innovative and diverse teaching methods that supports the national curriculum
- Motivate, inspire and involve students through creating a safe learning environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about various sports and can teach sport effectively
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- Valid DBS (Can be produced through us)
- Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Can be produced through us)
- Passionate about sport
- Full driving licence and has access to a car
- £173-£265 per day depending on pay grade
- Refer a friend scheme up to £125
