Your role is to build strong, positive relationships with students—acting as a mentor and communicating effectively to help them feel understood and supported. You will be able to provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of ALN and behavioural challenges. You will work closely with students offering consistent emotional and academic support throughout the school day.

This opportunity is very exciting as it will not only give you the opportunity to work with these incredible young people but will also enhance your knowledge and understanding for your future in Education as a whole.

What we are looking for

Because you'll be supporting young people, we're ideally looking for applicants with some relevant experience. This could be in areas like sports coaching, babysitting, care work, or youth support. However, if you have other transferable skills and can demonstrate these at interview, we'd love to hear from you!
