Welsh-Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners? Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a fantastic school in the West of Newport. The position is part-time, initially for two - three days a week, and is set to begin at the start of September.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans.
- Promote inclusive learning and support the emotional and social development of children.
- Use the Welsh language within the school community.
- Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure each child's learning needs are met.
Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in Welsh, both written and spoken.
- Experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude toward supporting young learners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is a plus.
