Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day?

Our specialist school is seeking an enthusiastic KS3 Teacher to join our committed team, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs. This is an opportunity to be part of a nurturing, child-centred environment where education goes far beyond the classroom, helping young people develop the confidence, independence, communication skills, and life skills they need to flourish.

Every achievement matters here. Whether it's academic progress, developing social skills, building resilience, or gaining independence, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our pupils realise their full potential.

Our school provides specialist education for learners with a range of complex additional learning needs. We are proud of our inclusive and supportive culture, where every pupil is treated as an individual and encouraged to succeed at their own pace.

Through a holistic approach to education, wellbeing, and personal development, we create meaningful learning experiences that equip young people with the skills and confidence needed for life both inside and outside the classroom.

As a KS3 Teacher, you will:
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Develop and implement personalised learning approaches that support individual pupil outcomes.
  • Foster communication, emotional regulation, social development, and independence.
  • Monitor progress and celebrate achievement in all its forms.
  • Support pupils with their personal development and wellbeing needs.
  • Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and pupil reviews where appropriate.

As part of this role, there may be occasions where you are required to support pupils with elements of personal care, always maintaining dignity, respect, and promoting independence wherever possible. Full training and support will be provided.
