KEY RESULT AREAS 1. To design, deliver and develop appropriate and relevant learning to promote positive progression of learners
2. Plan the learning and assessment process with learners 3. To recruit learners to the programme
4. Induction including, meeting and greeting all learners, completing all relevant eligibility documentation delivering the structured induction session and making sure all learners have a clear understanding of the programme and future goals. 5. To deliver personal development workshops
6. Responsible for the delivery and successful completion of a range of agreed qualifications as per programme specification in a timely manner 7. To collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, employers, training providers, and support agencies to ensure effective referral processes onto the programme 8. To build and maintain positive relationships with learners on a one-to-one basis and group work, motivating and encouraging them to fulfil their potential.
9. Support the Manager to embed a culture of achievement in the staff and young people who take part in the programmes ensuring high retention and to be able to access exit routes 10. To manage weekly/monthly checks of all contractual performance targets including (but not exhaustive): performance, contractual, quality and compliance accurately and within agreed timescales to ensure that contract requirements are met and funding is maximised 11.
To manage the monitoring and completion of learner reviews and the programmes outcomes 12. To be aware of and implement the Council?s Equality, Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies 13. Undertake other related and reasonable duties, commensurate with the salary grade and level of the post. 14. To take responsibility, through the Safeguarding policy and procedures, to safeguard all learners on programme PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications ESSENTIAL:
Educated to a minimum NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject ? PTLLS, IAG, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification ? Registered with the Education Workforce Council DESIRABLE: QA or Internal Verification qualification Knowledge: ESSENTIAL:
Must have good knowledge and current practice in the Education sector ? Understanding of Professional boundaries when dealing with young people, especially on a one to one basis. ? Extensive knowledge of working with challenging and vulnerable young people in an educational setting ? Extensive knowledge of curriculum based work with young people ? Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding (Child protection issues)
