Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Hair & Beauty specialists and lecturers.

You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong industry experience, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.

Working within a Hair & Beauty department, you could:

• Deliver engaging theory and practical Hair & Beauty sessions
• Demonstrate professional techniques and industry standards
• Support learners working towards vocational qualifications
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
• Help learners develop their technical skills and confidence
• Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships or further study
• Support learners with SEN/ALN or additional learning needs
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

• Level 3 qualification in Hair, Beauty or a relevant discipline
• Strong industry experience within Hair & Beauty
• Up-to-date knowledge of professional techniques and industry standards
• Ability to demonstrate practical skills and engage learners
• Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A teaching or training qualification is desirable but not essential
• Experience working with learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
