• Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire students and foster a love of English.
• Assessing student progress and providing tailored support to ensure high attainment levels.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and participating in school-wide initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Supporting the wellbeing and personal development of pupils, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

• A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or equivalent.
• Proven experience of teaching English at secondary level, ideally within a comprehensive school setting.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and a commitment to safeguarding.
