Aspire People are looking for an experienced English Lecturer to deliver GCSE English and Skills within a Further Education setting in Newport.
This is an opportunity for an experienced English Teacher or Lecturer with strong WJEC GCSE English knowledge who can engage learners and support them towards successful outcomes.
The Role- Deliver engaging GCSE English and Skills sessions
- Teach learners working towards WJEC GCSE English
- Adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to quality assurance and learner outcomes
- Experience teaching WJEC GCSE English
- Qualified Teacher or relevant teaching qualification, such as PGCE, or willingness to achieve one
- Strong English subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of assessment and quality assurance
- Ability to engage and support diverse learners
- Basic Welsh language skills desirable, or willingness to undertake training
