Are you a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong industrial experience? Do you want to work on high‑profile, new‑build industrial developments with a contractor that is a recognised leader in the logistics and warehouse sector across the UK?

We're representing a well‑established, fast‑growing main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex industrial and distribution schemes nationwide. With a strong pipeline of secured work in South Wales, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on new‑build industrial projects in Newport.

You’ll be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of large‑scale industrial builds – from pre‑construction through to final account – working closely with operational teams and clients to ensure successful financial delivery.

• Large distribution centres
• Logistics hubs
• Manufacturing and warehouse facilities

• Lead commercial management of new build industrial projects
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts
• Contract administration (primarily JCT)
• Risk management and value engineering
• Mentoring junior members of the commercial team

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
• Strong background delivering new‑build industrial / logistics projects
• Excellent contractual knowledge (JCT essential)
• Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
• Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• Able to manage projects independently and liaise confidently with clients
