Job Description /Preferred Qualifications As part of the SPTS Engineering division, the Equipment Engineering and Development Group is a multi-disciplined team, providing automation solutions to enable the integration of SPTS process systems into customer semiconductor fabrication factories worldwide! As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced/proven Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer with a detailed understanding of all aspects of electrical and electronic design.
You would be working with other specialists in the group with equipment design/integration and expect to work to tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical / electronic control and interface design Electrical assembly design Design of electrical enclosures using Solid Edge Wiring harness design AC/DC power distribution circuit design Analogue and digital circuit design RF Circuit Design Fault finding / problem solving Designing critical safety circuits to comply with EN13849 Technical report writing Producing engineering drawings, build and test guides. Qualifications and
Experience:
Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent Proven experience working in an electrical/electronic design role Strong understanding of Machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards, EN60204, EN13849 essential Understanding of UL/NFPA regulations Design of safety circuits AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent experience 3D CAD experience is desired Key

A flexible work ethic and ability to use initiative
