Location:
Newport, South Wales Salary: £40k-£70k Bonus Pension Automation SCADA Engineer required by fast-growing engineering company delivering complex process automation projects across the UK and internationally! The role covers the full project lifecycle, from customer requirements and system design through PLC/SCADA development, testing and commissioning to final handover
The role:
You'll be responsible for designing and developing PLC/SCADA control systems, working across projects from initial customer requirements through to testing, commissioning and service. This includes FDS writing, software development, project execution and customer contact Essential: 3 years' PLC/SCADA programming experience Dairy industry automation experience Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB 800xA, Schneider/Modicon, Mitsubishi, Wonderware and/or WinCC Testing and commissioning experience Strong customer communication skills Nice to have: ISA S88 and/or S95 FDS writing MES experience Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning Tremendous oppportunity offering plenty of scope for career progression in a friendly, innovative environment where you'll be given of ownership across the full automation project lifecycle!
