Fifteen months into our journey as a newly merged organisation, Hedyn has brought together two ambitious housing providers to create a unified, values-led Group that is now one of the largest Registered Social Landlords in Wales. We are seeking an outstanding Director of Finance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hedyn. Maintaining Finance Operations, Reporting, Treasury, Business Planning, and Procurement, will provide strategic financial leadership across the Group while driving continuous improvement, long-term sustainability and organisational resilience.

As a trusted advisor to the Executive Team, Board and committees, you will provide insight, challenge and assurance, influencing decision‑making, strengthening accountability and building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead Finance Operations, Reporting, Treasury, Business Planning, and Procurement.
• Provide strategic financial leadership across the Group.
• Drive continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.
• Provide insight, challenge and assurance to Executive Team, Board and committees.
• Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with significant experience of strategic financial leadership within a complex, regulated and customer‑focused organisation.
• Expertise in financial reporting, financial planning and treasury strategy.
• Credibility and influence to operate effectively at Director level.
• Curious and collaborative leader who challenges thinking, drives improvement and builds strong relationships.
• Resilient, adaptable and commercially minded, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, take ownership and motivated by delivering positive outcomes for colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
