Senior Financial Accountant, Cardiff, Financial Services, Hybrid, up to £65k We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Cardiff that is looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA professional seeking their first step into a commercially focused, industry-based role.

You'll work with in a high-performing finance function, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders, complex financial reporting requirements, and strategic business initiatives in a highly regulated environment.

The Role As Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting, supporting regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Supporting statutory accounts and year-end audit activities Producing balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis Working closely with business stakeholders across the organisation Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Identifying process improvements and enhancing financial controls Contributing to finance transformation and change initiatives You'll ideally have:
Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status or up to two years post qualification Experience gained within an accountancy practice or audit environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop They are looking to offer the successful candidate between £60,000 - £65,000.
