People Advisor Opportunities - Two Exciting Roles Available! Ready to take the next step in your HR career? We're looking for two People Advisors to join our fantastic People Team at Hedyn, supporting our colleagues and leaders to create great workplace experiences while helping drive organisational success. Homes & Communities People Advisor - partnering with our Homes & Communities directorate, providing practical, people-focused HR support across a diverse range of services.
Resources People Advisor - primarily supporting our Resources directorate and working closely with our Recruitment Specialist, offering a unique blend of HR and recruitment responsibilities. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys employee relations and people advisory work but also wants to be involved in attracting and hiring great talent. In both roles, you'll act as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues, providing expert guidance on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
You'll also support organisational change projects, including restructures, team reshaping initiatives and change programmes, helping managers navigate change with confidence and empathy. You'll use workforce data and insights to identify trends, support wellbeing and engagement initiatives, contribute to HR projects and policy development, and work collaboratively across the People Team to deliver an outstanding colleague experience. Specifically, in the role you will:
Provide proactive, pragmatic HR advice aligned to service delivery priorities and organisational objectives. Build credible and collaborative relationships with colleagues and managers across the organisation. The relationship with the People BP's will need to be highly effective to ensure cases are managed and joined up advice is given across the full remit of the role. Provide guidance and manage a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases, investigations, capability, and absence management.
manage a broad range of employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and safeguarding-related matters. Use key workforce data (absence, turnover, ER trends) to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Work with hiring managers and the Recruitment BP to plan and coordinate recruitment activity across a wide range of roles Coach colleagues and managers, strengthening people management capability across the organisation.
Collaborate with the wider People Solutions team to deliver a holistic people service laborate with the Learning & Colleague Experience team to identify capability gaps arising from employee relations trends, organisational change, and service delivery needs. Advise on initiatives that promote engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion . Keep abreast of People best practice , including changes in employment law and contribute to embedding a culture of innovation, excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Advise and contribute to HR projects and policy development , taking work from initial concept through to implementation and embedding improved approaches across the organisation.
