Location:
Isle of Wight
Hours:
7.30 a.m.
- 4.00 p.m., 40 hours per week
Days:
Monday - Friday, with weekends and evenings on an on-call rota basis
Duration:
Temporary, immediate start, ongoing
- Working within a small team, attending reactive maintenance requests including;
- filling of potholes, basic tarmacking,
- repairing, replacing and repainting street furniture,
- general labouring and manual handling.
- Adherence to quality and health and safety standards.
- Must have previous construction experience and be physically fit due to the nature of duties.
- Highways experience is an advantage.
- Must have a full driver license and an awareness of health and safety.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team, to instruction.
Salary: £12.71 per hour worked, overtime paid at time and a half or time and a third depending on rota
