Wood Machinist / Joinery Machinist £15.00 per hour | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | Full-Time The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist / Joinery Machinist to join a busy workshop producing high-quality bespoke timber joinery for commercial projects. This role would suit someone with experience as a wood machinist, joinery machinist, spindle moulder operator, or bench joiner with machining experience who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality joinery components.

The workshop manufactures a range of bespoke timber products , including windows, doors, staircases, fitted furniture, and other custom joinery used across sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, education, and residential developments.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 Pay: £15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
* Machine timber components accurately from technical drawings and specifications
* Set up, operate, and adjust woodworking machinery , including spindle moulders and panel saws
* Select and change tooling to achieve required profiles and finishes
* Measure, mark out, and prepare timber materials for machining
* Carry out routine machine checks and follow workshop health and safety procedures
* Work independently and as part of a busy joinery workshop team
* Support general workshop duties as required Requirements
* Previous experience as a Wood Machinist, Joinery Machinist, or similar woodworking role
* A qualification in carpentry, joinery, or wood occupations , or equivalent time-served experience
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Good timekeeping and ability to meet production deadlines
