We're recruiting for a Machine Operator / Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Newport. The Role As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery Setting up equipment and ensuring smooth production runs Working with steel products and materials Carrying out quality inspections and checks Following production instructions and drawings Making minor machine adjustments where required Reporting any faults or maintenance issues Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following all health and safety procedures What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous experience within manufacturing, production or machine operating roles Experience working with machinery or production equipment Good attention to detail and quality standards A positive attitude and strong work ethic The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A commitment to health and safety

Experience with in a engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
