Bryngwyn Surgery is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. The role will involve providing a broad range of nursing services within general practice, including long-term condition management, health promotion, vaccinations and immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and other treatment room duties. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, but who also enjoys being part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team.
Good communication, organisation and a patient-centred approach are essential. This is a varied role with the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of nursing services within the practice. We offer a supportive working environment and are happy to discuss hours and working patterns with the right candidate.
Bryngwyn Surgery is a friendly, well-established GP practice serving the local community in Newport. We are a close-knit team with a strong focus on providing accessible, high-quality care and creating a supportive working environment for our staff. We are committed to continuous improvement and are actively developing our systems around access, continuity, patient experience and clinical governance. We value people who are practical, approachable and willing to contribute to the wider life of the practice, rather than simply working within the boundaries of their own role.
Despite being a busy practice, we have a genuinely collaborative team and aim to provide a workplace where people feel supported, listened to and able to make a difference.
