Clinique Counter Manager Boots Newport (30 hours TEMPORARY)

Employment Type: Full‑time (30 hours) - Temporary
Key Responsibilities- Support the Brand to drive sales turnover and market share while remaining consumer focused.
- Present a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
- Maximise sales through selling, providing excellent service and maintaining retail standards.
- Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company procedures and guidelines.
- Understand daily/weekly sales targets and actively pursue them.
- Stay aware of additional sales avenues, such as events, omni‑channel, and digital channels.
- Keep up‑to‑date with competitor activities and identify missed opportunities.
- Leverage social media to protect and enhance the Brand image.
- Execute the Brand strategy and local plan effectively.
- Plan and implement local marketing and events aligned with retailer activity.
- Deliver excellent service, driving continuous improvement and a “zero consumer complaints” mindset.
- Act as a Brand ambassador, ensuring Brand values are represented and embodied.
- Manage refunds and complaints in line with Company guidelines, collaborating with the Area Manager when necessary.
- Use digital tools to keep product knowledge current.
- Implement consumer recruitment and retention strategies to grow a loyal base.
- Ensure retail standards (product, housekeeping, displays, pricing) meet required levels at all times.
- Monitor stock movements and related administration, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain auditable processes and administer corrective actions for risk areas.
- Respond to information requests accurately and within deadlines.
- Minimise stock loss by applying Company security policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment for consumers, adhering to Company and retailer policies.
- Meet health & safety responsibilities, achieving an “Acceptable” grading in audits.
- Manage daily replenishment and address issues promptly.
- Utilise commercial reports for informed commercial decisions.
- Deliver visual merchandising layout on time and to guidelines.
- Identify stock package issues and communicate to the Area Manager when out of direct control.
- Manage promotions and discounts in line with guidelines.
- Identify trends and propose enhancements to product performance.
- Experience in a fast‑paced retail and/or consumer‑facing environment.
- Strong self‑development drive.
- Commercial understanding and industry awareness.
- Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
