Specialist Toprovideaonetooneadvocacyandsupportedemploymentserviceto Connectto Workparticipantswhoareexperiencingsignificantbarrierstoemploymentwhichcaninclude :
Homelessness,victimsofabuse,severementalhealthconditionsoradditionallearningneeds. Tohaveindividualresponsibilityformentoringamonitoredcaseloadofparticipants,actingasanadvocateforeachindividualandbeinganintegralpartofamulti-disciplinaryteamtosupporttheindividualswiththeirgoalsbothpersonalandprofessional. Toadheretothestrictfidelityandqualityassurancerequirementsofthe Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) modelofsupportedemployment,ensuringparticipantshaveastructuredandmonitoredpathwaywhilstonprogramme. Employment Specialist Toworkwithkeystakeholders,servicedeliverypartners,statutoryandnon-statutoryorganisationstopromotethesupportavailabletothosehardesttoreach. Employment Specialist Toprovideflexiblesupporttotheprogrammeintheareaandworkoccasionalunsocialhours,providingapersonalisedparticipantledservicetomaximiseaccessibilityto

Toprovideazero-rejectionemploymentservice,undertakingvocationalprofilingwithparticipantsinlinewithguidelinesanddevelopingarobustplanofactionforthedurationoftheirtimeonproject. Toworkcloselywithexternalserviceproviderssuchas Aneurin Bevan Health Board ,placesofrefuge,drugandalcoholsupportservices,mentalhealthpractitioners,specialistlearningfacilitiesandotherrelevantbodiesasandwhenrequired. Toworkcloselywiththe Employer Liaison Officertoensuretheyenableparticipantstoachievesustainedemploymentalongsideyourguidanceandexpertise . Toprovideinformation,adviceandguidanceregardingthesupportavailablefromtheprogrammetokeystakeholdersandparticipants. Toundertakeworkwithotherteammembersinsupportingparticipantstopreparefortrainingandemployment,createsmoothtransitionsforparticipantstootherservicesintheworkandskillsdepartmentwhenneeded. Toidentifyalternativeemploymentoptions,guidedbytheparticipantsvocationalprofiletoensureappropriatevacanciesaresourcedinlinewithrequirements. Toverifyjoboutcomesthroughevidenceoremployercontactandtoberesponsibleforensuringallparticipantsoutcomesarerecordedaccuratelyandbeyondthissupporttheparticipant&employerwithupto6monthsofsupportwhilstinworktoensureemploymentissustained. Tomaintainparticipantsfilesanddatavia(paper&database) to 100% accuracyatthefirst,andeverysubsequentinstanceofcompletion. Tofollowprescribedfilinganddataaccuracyrequirementstoensuretheconfidentialityofparticipantinformationandarobustaudittrailforinternalandexternalreview. Toaccuratelyreportagainsttargetstotheprogrammemanagersothisinformationcanbesharedwithallstakeholdersinvolvedi.e.Department of Work&Pensions. Thisjobdescriptionsetsoutthemainresultareasofthepostatthedatewhenitwasdrawnup.
