About the job Social Worker - Children Services

Experience

  • Be able to demonstrate experience of working with young people in a relevant social care setting or undertaking voluntary work with this client group.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Assessment and Care Planning Management.
  • Have experience of working with or supporting children with a disability
  • Be able to work within a complex professional environment.
  • Be able to work under pressure and handle sometimes conflicting demands.
  • Be able to work directly with professionals in the team undertaking joint tasks.
  • To understand the boundaries of the role.
  • Be able to work alone and use initiative within boundaries set by Team Manager.
  • Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with colleagues.
  • Hold a current driving Licence
