• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards
• Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of freight, maintaining high levels of customer service
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and tachograph records
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies during operations
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class
  1) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Current Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC certification
• Previous experience operating Class 1 vehicles in a logistics environment
• Strong understanding of UK road regulations and safety standards
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required
