Service Delivery Supervisor Newport Transport

Newport Transport are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Supervisor.
The Service Delivery Supervisor will assist with the smooth day to day running of the bus and coach operation, including on time performance, delivering excellent customer experience, while managing a governance agenda that supports legislative, process, policy, and overall compliance in line with our operator's licence and service level agreements.
The successful candidate should be a person who is constantly looking to develop and improve their work knowledge, skills and experience and has developed good relationships with other staff based on mutual respect.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Maintain punctuality of bus and coach services and recording lost mileage, directly into our systems.
- Provide leadership to the driving staff as a key representative of the management team.
- Maximise the efficient coverage of local bus and Flix Bus duties in accordance with both Domestic and EU Drivers Hours and the Working Time Directive at both the forward and day to day allocation.
- Daily checks of driver licence, dCPC and tacho cards for validity and compliance
- Ensure accurate recording of drivers’ duties and attendance management.
- Complete accurate operational reports and distribute to the relevant personnel.
- Take charge of emergency situations keeping key stakeholders informed and updated.
- Ensure all ticket machines are accounted for, working correctly, communicating, recorded correctly against each bus and to conduct ticket machine data interrogation and reporting.
- Proactively manage customer complaints, along with updating EPM.
- Ensure Operations, Engineering and Private Hire Managers are informed on regular basis as operational or engineering problems develop.
- Good verbal, written and IT skills.
- Valid UK car, PCV licence and dCPC entitlement.
- Working knowledge of both Domestic and EU drivers' hours Rules and Regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Traffic Commissioner Requirements and Compliance.
