Hours:
40 hours per week: 2pm - 10.30pm ( with half an hour unpaid break)
Days:
Monday - Friday
Duration:
Temporary ongoing
- Safe operation of plant including left-hand drive road sweepers, working to planned routes and schedules.
- Vehicle checks, basic maintenance and reporting defects.
- Road sweeping, litter picking and removal of debris.
- Adherence to health and safety and highways regulations.
- Emptying public rubbish bins including dog waste.
- Weed removal, clearing pavements, paths, drains and gullies of green waste.
- gum and graffiti removal
- Must have full clean HGV / Category C driver's license and a good awareness of health and safety.
- Must be physically fit due to nature of duties.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
Salary: £13.85 per hour worked 2pm - 10.30pm, £18.42 per hour worked 6.30pm - 10.30pm
