Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00

Performs indirect patient care, including cleaning occupied and unoccupied patient areas and maintaining a hygienically clean environment. Responsible for infection control, housekeeping department policies, and safety. Handles waste, cleans and disinfects areas using approved solutions, requests supplies, and maintains equipment.

Performs indirect patient care by cleaning occupied and unoccupied areas, maintaining floors and other surfaces in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive manner. An understanding and willingness to follow infection control and safety guidelines are required.

Performs indirect patient care by cleaning and disinfecting floors and other surfaces, removing biohazardous waste and contaminated linen, and maintaining equipment in working order.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED; proficient reading and writing.

  Experience:
  
  Ability to understand written and oral instructions; good physical and emotional well‑being. Must be able to sit, walk, bend, push carts, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Job Knowledge:
  Able to set priorities, organize workload, and efficiently use supplies and equipment; previous experience desirable but not required.
