Purpose of PositionMake an impact at the heart of a growing business college. The Haile College of Business is looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Coordinator to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and help our leadership team focus on what matters most — students, faculty, and community partnerships.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for the Dean and Associate Deans — managing operations, supporting faculty needs, coordinating events, and ensuring the College runs efficiently. Every day will look a little different, but you’ll always be right in the center of what makes the College work.
Primary Responsibilities- Keep the Dean’s Office organized and moving — manage calendars, prepare materials, coordinate travel, and handle communications.
- Assist the Dean and Associate Deans with administrative elements in the Haile College of Business.
- Support faculty hiring, onboarding, and development, including immigration and HR processes.
- Plan and coordinate key College events — from advisory board meetings to donor receptions — in partnership with Marketing and Communications.
- Prepare reports and materials that support accreditation and other strategic initiatives.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- Track and manage ongoing projects to ensure follow-through and results.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative or office management experience (higher ed experience a plus, but not required).
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with SAP/myNKU is helpful.
- A self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, managing details, and making things happen.
- A master’s degree in Business or Higher Education Administration.
- Experience supporting senior leaders or working in an academic setting.
- Familiarity with AACSB accreditation or faculty administration.

This is an on-campus position located at Northern Kentucky University.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Salary: $40,307 / annually (minimum)
Pay Grade: S69
