Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership.
Purpose:Provide financial coaching services, assess housing affordability, and connect families to community resources. Facilitate Financial Education, Home ownership workshops, and one-on-one sessions to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to remove financial barriers and meet their housing and financial goals.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist individuals and families in gaining financial independence through education, coaching, and connection to resources.
- Conduct community and customer outreach
- Coaching and service planning with an emphasis on financial coaching, housing counseling, asset building, and home ownership
- Meet program reporting requirements
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Completion of HUD Certification within 90 days
- Knowledge of community resources
- Proficient in database applications and Microsoft programs
- Experience in customer service or finance/banking
- Occasional evening and weekend hours
- Retirement Plan-employer contribution of 4% of gross salary for 403b and additional 2% match option
