Job Description

Join Target as a General Merchandise and Food Sales team member, responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

The role of a General Merchandise Expert can provide you with knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest-first culture, and experience in retail business fundamentals. As a General Merchandise Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include creating a welcoming experience, executing daily tasks, and resolving guest questions quickly.

Responsibilities include:

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their specific needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and arranging merchandise.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and best practices.
