** Join the Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services Team in providing a recovery-oriented environment in which patients can address their substance use disorders in a holistic manner in our newresidential facility.
Provides direct services to clients in Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services and Behavioral Health programs in a manner that reflects our commitment to trauma informed, evidence-based practices.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONSamaritan Treatment and Recovery Services provide a continuum of substance use services to adults and their families. Members of the Samaritan Treatment and Recovery team work in a multi-disciplinary approach, in both residential and outpatient settings providing evidenced, trauma informed treatment.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or National Certification Addiction Counselor I (NCAC I) required. CADC II, NCAC II, or higher certification preferred
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within 30 days of hire.
Experience and/or training in computer applications required.
If responsible for driving SHS vehicles, then successful completion of Drivers Privileges for SHS Vehicles application process required.

Knowledge of substance use treatment/counseling with the skills to perform trauma-informed care and gender-responsive treatments.
Understanding of Oregon Administrative Rules, ASAM, and DSM-5-TR.
