Nursing Assistant (License Pending)

Recent graduate of a Nursing Assistant class awaiting licensure. Full‑time or part‑time day or evening shifts. Skilled Nursing setting, Avamere Rehab of Newport, 835 SW 11th St, Newport, OR 97365.

• Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are met per wishes
• Review care plans daily and monitor changes in routine
• Inform Nurse Supervisor of any condition changes so appropriate plan updates occur
• Assist residents with daily needs, program preparation, and transport to appointments
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, calm and cheerful environment
• Ensure resident rooms ready for receiving and make residents comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies

• Minimum 10th grade education
• Completed Nursing Assistant class and in process of certification
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care info per HIPAA guidelines
• Effectively communicate resident information to Charge Nurses, Director of Nursing and/or Administrator
• Active CPR/BLS certification
