Engineering Technician Security Clearance

Position: Engineering Technician with Security Clearance
Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Technician in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Inspect and test incoming assets to evaluate system condition and document all deficiencies.

• Operate, troubleshoot, upgrade, and perform diagnostics, recommend repairs, and perform repairs (upon approval).

• Identify and document failed components and replace failed components as part of the repair process.

• Conduct teardown, installation, configuration management, final assembly, and verification testing.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, software regression, pre-installation test and checkout (PITCO).

• Prepare, update, and submit reports as required. Minimum

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of High school diploma or GED;

• 15+ years’ experience with SubHDR repairs.

• Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret.

Additional Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the Submarine High Data Rate (SubHDR) repair process to include operations and maintenance of the Mast Rail Test Station (MRTS).

• Strong technical communication skills. The primary location for performance of the work will be Newport, RI occasional travel.
