Overview

LAZ Parking is hiring Valet Attendants. You are the first and last point of contact for clients, parking and retrieving cars in a professional and responsible manner.

• Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Greet customers by name, attend to their needs, and build rapport with each driver.
• Direct traffic to maintain clear, organized car flow with a positive attitude.
• Work with or without supervision and demonstrate a self-reliant attitude when needed.
• Promote excellent customer relations and represent LAZ Parking in a friendly, professional manner.

• Dynamic: charismatic, energetic, and helpful.
• Dependable: responsible and reliable.
• A good driver with a clean driving record; able to drive a standard transmission.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle challenging situations.
• Effective communicator who can read, write, and speak English clearly.
• A team player who can motivate others and adapt to different opinions.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work at multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions.
• Demonstrates urgency and timeliness.
• Strong team-building and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to work in the elements (heat, wind, rain, etc.).
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods; ability to bend, stoop, and squat as needed.

• Base pay range: $20.00/hr (varies by skills and experience)
